New Beginnings...

Over the past 5 years WRM and I have lived in Northampton, Chipping Norton, Magor (in a mobile home) and Llanafan Fawr. We have been slowly edging west, closer and closer to the valley where we first met and spent a substantial part of our lives.
Despite moving away to go to University, him to Harper Adams and me to Nottingham, our paths invariably crossed now and again at friends weddings, in the pub at Christmas and the local shows. However, it was not until I bumped into him at Blenheim Horse Trials (at 10am with a large glass of red wine in hand) that our lives became completely entangled again.
The Towy terriers were our first joint investment in our relationship... and for the record, never ever buy 2 Patterdale terriers, especially from the same litter! The first Towy tiddler followed along with another house move, redundancy for WRM, another move (to the mobile home), change of jobs and a further move to Llanafan Fawr in Mid Wales. Here Tiddler number 2 arrived and we made the decision to remain in Wales, more specifically return to our roots.
We found our house with 13 acres in the Upper Towy Valley. The house needs plenty of hard work and TLC but we immediately fell in love with the land. As yet we have not moved but have spent hours thinking, pondering and dreaming; from aquilegias to alpacas, sheep to shetlands we are planning our farm, be it only small. With excitement and trepidation with venture forth to our new beginning in our very own tyddyn!
